STADLER completes 100,000 t/y waste treatment plant in Spain

STADLER Group has completed the design and construction of a new waste treatment and recovery facility for GRUPO GRIÑÓ's subsidiary HERA HOLDING in Fuente Álamo, Spain.

The plant is designed to process up to 100,000 tonnes of municipal and industrial waste annually, recovering valuable materials, producing solid recovered fuel (SRF) and diverting more than 60% of incoming waste from final disposal.

The project highlights continued investment in advanced waste treatment infrastructure as Europe expands resource recovery capacity and reduces landfill dependence.

🎥 STADLER has also released a video showcasing the final stages of construction and the completed facility.
