Enva, one of the UK and Ireland’s leading recycling and resource recovery specialists, has officially opened Scotland’s only dedicated fridge and SDA recycling facility in Perth. This multi-million-pound investment establishes a flagship plant capable of meeting the highest recycling standards.
The state-of-the-art facility can process 4,000 fridges and 300 tonnes of small domestic appliances per week, allowing Scottish residents to sustainably recycle items such as kettles, toasters, vacuum cleaners, and coffee machines.
Equipped with the latest degassing, shredding, and recycling technologies, the facility ensures that over 98% of fridge components are recovered for further processing. A major step forward for sustainable waste management in Scotland! ♻️
