Lindner Recyclingtech has expanded its mobile shredding portfolio with the Urraco ECO, a new twin-shaft shredder designed for waste wood, green waste and commercial waste. The machine is positioned as an entry-level model in Lindner’s premium segment, with a drive concept adapted to these applications.

Designed for wood and commercial waste

The Urraco ECO is designed for both pre-shredding and volume reduction across different classes of waste wood, as well as green and commercial waste. The machine uses a synchronous twin-shaft cutting system and a 566 kW Scania diesel engine. Its hydrostatic double drive delivers up to 480,000 Nm of torque.

Service-focused design

Lindner has retained the company’s established cutting technology while simplifying the machine for its target applications. The Skyflap maintenance system and FX fast-exchange system allow the complete cutting system to be replaced in up to 2.5 hours, according to the manufacturer. Lindner also states that the Urraco ECO can reduce operating costs by up to 30%.

A permanent over-belt magnet is available for ferrous metal separation. The machine also features an integrated discharge conveyor and remote control for mobile operation.

First presentation in Austria

The Urraco ECO was presented for the first time at Lindner’s International Partner Days in Spittal an der Drau, Austria, in September 2026. Representatives of Lindner’s subsidiaries and sales partners from more than 30 countries attended a live shredding demonstration of the new machine.

The Urraco ECO expands Lindner’s mobile shredding range for applications where a heavy-duty shredder is not required, while focusing on lower investment and operating costs.
