ReLoopDesign links circular purchasing to Scope 3 climate data across four Nordic countries

ReLoopDesign, a Nordic platform for products containing at least 50% recycled or sustainable material, now connects more than 20 brands with businesses, public buyers and consumers in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Launched on 26 June 2026, the platform provides business buyers with product-level climate data for every order, designed for Scope 3 emissions accounting and CSRD reporting.

The ReLoopDesign platform addresses a documentation challenge facing procurement teams as companies come under increasing pressure to reduce supply-chain emissions and report on their environmental impact. Buyers often need to verify material claims across multiple suppliers and translate purchasing data into figures suitable for sustainability reporting.

A single marketplace for circular products

📈 ReLoopDesign brings products from multiple suppliers into a single curated marketplace covering building materials, furniture and interiors, office supplies, textiles, gifts and everyday goods. Each product is checked against the platform’s material standard before listing.

“Most buyers we talk to want circular alternatives. What stops them is time and documentation. If a company swaps virgin plastic office products for recycled ones, it should know exactly what that purchase means for its climate accounts, without running a separate project to find out,” says Simon Ottosson, Co-Founder and COO of ReLoopDesign.

Business and public-sector buyers can order directly or submit requests through a tender portal, where participating brands respond with quotations. Brand partners connect their existing webshops to the platform and ship products directly to customers, without holding additional inventory or paying a fixed platform fee.

The same product range is available to consumers across all four Nordic markets. ReLoopDesign works with more than 20 Nordic brand partners, including producers of recycled-plastic and textile products, furniture manufacturers and building-material suppliers.

Corporate gifting with climate data

🎁 Ahead of the holiday season, the company has introduced a corporate gifting portal offering circular products with accompanying climate data.

“The economics still favour new products in many categories. We think the fastest way to change that is on the buying side. When large buyers ask for circular alternatives with data attached, producers follow,” says Ottosson.

The launch comes as European companies face growing pressure to demonstrate progress on circularity and supply-chain emissions. Since 19 July 2026, the EU prohibition on destroying unsold clothing and footwear has applied to large companies, adding to the regulatory focus on product lifecycles and waste prevention.
