SORTAG Zürich AG near Zurich achieves up to 98% mineral purity when processing mixed construction and demolition waste into recycled aggregates.
The output material is directly reused in concrete production by its parent company KIBAG Entsorgungstechnik AG, where quality requirements are strict. Swiss standards for recycled concrete allow minimal contamination, particularly from gypsum.
Final purification is carried out using STEINERT sensor-based sorting technology.
