TOMRA Collection has introduced a digital deposit return solution integrated into the Lidl Plus app, enabling customers to return empty beverage containers and receive deposit refunds directly in-app, without paper receipts or additional steps.

The system is powered by TOMRA’s Digital Payout API and is connected to reverse vending infrastructure, allowing fully digital tracking and redemption of returns.
