DPP.GS launches compliance platform as EU Digital Product Passport requirements expand

🇪🇺 As the European Union continues to roll out new sustainability legislation, companies are facing an increasingly complex regulatory landscape across product design, packaging and supply chains.

DPP.GS, a compliance platform developed by Sensoneo, has officially launched to help businesses manage multiple EU compliance requirements through a single digital solution.

The platform brings together four key regulatory frameworks:

• Digital Product Passport (DPP) for products such as textiles and electronics;

• Digital Label requirements under the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR);

• Battery Passport for the battery value chain;

• Sunrise 2027 customs and import compliance requirements.

💡 Rather than managing these obligations separately, the platform enables companies to monitor regulatory developments, track compliance requirements, organise documentation and prepare for upcoming reporting obligations from one centralised environment.

The launch comes as manufacturers across the packaging, textile, electronics and battery sectors prepare for a new era of product transparency, where digital product information will increasingly become a regulatory requirement throughout the value chain.

According to Sensoneo, DPP.GS is also designed to support long-term product data management, serving as a single source of truth for information shared with producers, suppliers, Producer Responsibility Organisations (PROs) and other value chain partners.

♻️ As Digital Product Passports and related regulations move closer to implementation, digital compliance platforms are expected to play an increasingly important role in helping companies navigate Europe's evolving circular economy framework.
