Greyparrot is showcasing a new OEE Dashboard at Resource & Waste Management Expo (RWM Expo), designed to bring real-time operational efficiency tracking to recycling and recovery facilities.

Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) has long been used in manufacturing to measure availability, performance and output. In recycling, accurate OEE measurement has been more difficult because operators have lacked real-time data on the material moving through a facility.

Live data for plant performance

The new dashboard combines live waste composition data with equipment availability and performance, providing a continuously updated view of plant operations.

The system is designed to help operators identify downtime, monitor performance and improve material recovery using live operational data.

With more than 300 Analyzers deployed across 20+ countries, Greyparrot reports operational gains of 10–30% at facilities using its real-time data, with one site saving more than £1.5 million in a single year.

The launch reflects a broader shift towards data-driven monitoring of recycling facilities, where material composition and equipment performance can be analysed together.
