Germany-based MACHINE-VISION.io demonstrated its Tyre-Check.AI system, showing how machine vision and AI can automate the inspection and classification of used and end-of-life tyres.

The system combines machine vision, AI, laser measurement and RFID to assess tyre condition and identify tyres for potential reuse or further processing.

🔍 Tyre-Check.AI can process up to 8 tyres per second, with functions including:

• OCR-based sidewall recognition with up to 99.2% accuracy

• Detection of M+S and 3PMSF markings

• Laser tread measurement with 0.1 mm precision

• Detection of cuts, deformation and structural defects

• RFID-based tracking

Depending on configuration, the modular system handles between 450 and 2,500 tyres per hour.
