E-Waste World Expo expands to North America with three recycling events in Atlanta

Trans-World Events is expanding its E-Waste World Expo format to the United States, launching three co-located recycling exhibitions in Atlanta on October 28–29.

E-Waste World Expo North America, Battery Recycling Expo North America and Critical Minerals Expo North America will be held at the Cobb Convention Center Atlanta, bringing together companies across electronics, batteries and critical minerals under a single registration.p>

The organiser expects more than 1,500 industry professionals, 150 exhibitors and 60 speakers. Exhibitors confirmed so far include SGS, Metso, Aurubis, STEINERT, Primobius, STADLER Group, ERI, Full Circle Electronics, Umicore and Veolia.p>

The event comes as investment in battery and electric vehicle manufacturing expands across the US. Georgia has become a major battery and EV production hub, while the wider US Battery Belt has attracted more than $48 billion in announced investment since 2021, increasing demand for critical minerals and domestic recycling capacity.p>

The three events will cover critical mineral supply chains, battery collection and recycling, second-life applications, electronics recycling, IT asset disposition and recycling infrastructure.p>

Peter Sarno, event director at Trans-World Events, said the sectors are increasingly connected: “Mining, processing and recycling have become part of one much bigger conversation.”p>
