Textiles Recycling Expo 2026 builds on successful debut with record attendance, global participation and expanded industry collaboration

The second edition of Textiles Recycling Expo concluded on 24–25 June at Brussels Expo, reinforcing its position as Europe's leading exhibition and conference dedicated exclusively to textile recycling and circularity.

Building on the success of its inaugural event, Textiles Recycling Expo 2026 welcomed 5,607 visitors over two days. Co-located for the first time with Future Fabrics Expo, the event brought together the entire textile recycling value chain and sustainable materials industry for two days of business, innovation, collaboration and high-value networking.

• 5,607 visitors from around the world

• 169+ exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies and solutions for textile collection, sorting, fibre regeneration, recycling machinery, AI-driven automation, digital traceability, circular materials and manufacturing innovation

• 71 expert speakers representing leading global brands and organisations, including H&M, On, Volkswagen Group, DHL, SHEIN, Textile Exchange, Primark, Fashion for Good, the European Commission, the European Environment Agency (EEA), UNEP, EURATEX - European Apparel and Textile Confederation and many more

Among the new features, the Reju VIP Lounge provided an exclusive meeting space for industry leaders, exhibitors and partners. At its entrance, a striking textile elephant installation highlighted the industry's "elephant in the room" — textile waste — sparking conversations throughout the event.

The expanded Industry Alliance Hub brought together seven major organisations, including EURATEX, UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT), Professional Clothing Industry Association Worldwide Ltd (PCIAW®), ReHubs, Accelerating Circularity, Fedustria and Denim Deal, demonstrating the growing importance of cross-industry collaboration in building a circular textile economy.

Visitors also enjoyed complimentary access to Future Fabrics Expo, creating additional opportunities to explore sustainable materials, innovative fibres and next-generation textile solutions.

🏆 A key milestone was the inaugural Textiles Recycling Awards, recognising outstanding achievements in textile circularity, innovation and sustainability. Winners across six categories included Beyond Retro, Elis, Green Worms || Ethical Waste Management & Recycling for Local Govt's and Brands. Waste Management Private Limited, Circ®, Renasens and Epoch Biodesign.
