AMP to showcase AI-powered MSW sorting at ESS Expo 2026
US recycling technology company AMP will showcase its AI-powered municipal solid waste (MSW) sorting technology at the Environmental Services & Solutions Expo (ESS Expo) 2026, taking place on 16–17 September at the NEC Birmingham, UK .
AMP will present its Smart Sortation™ technology, which uses AI to identify and recover recyclable materials from mixed municipal waste streams, including material affected by dirt, contamination and moisture.
The company says its MSW systems typically deliver more than 60% diversion and over 90% uptime, while compact configurations can be integrated into existing facilities as small as 20,000 sq ft.
AMP will also present AMP ONE®, its Sortation-as-a-Service model, under which the company builds, operates and maintains the sorting facility and charges customers on a per-ton basis.
AMP will exhibit at booth ME-E224 at ESS Expo 2026, which brings together companies working across waste management, recycling, resource recovery and the wider environmental services sector.
