Secure Recycling boosts e-waste processing power with UNTHA shredders.
Secure Recycling, a specialist in the disposal of electronic IT assets, has upgraded its operations by investing in two high-performance shredders from UNTHA — the ZR2400W pre-shredder and the XR3000C. These state-of-the-art machines have replaced the previously used RS100, significantly enhancing throughput, efficiency, and uptime.
With the new setup: – Throughput has increased to up to 7 tonnes per hour
– Consistent 2-inch particle size ensures optimal downstream separation
– Energy consumption reduced, and overall performance improved
The ZR2400W handles large, heavy items — from industrial printers to stadium-sized LED panels — with ease and lower power requirements.
⚙️ The XR3000C delivers four times the throughput of the RS100, thanks to its robust design and resistance to unshreddable materials. These advancements are driving greater operational efficiency, cost savings, and resource recovery for Secure Recycling.
